Recovery Solutions
Do you have a technology, product or service that could aid in the recovery, mitigation and cleanup efforts after Hurricane Ian? We’re gathering information about solutions from organizations throughout the Corridor that may aid in recovery. Let us know by completing this form.
Donate and Support
- American Human Society: Donate to provide critical aid to and rescue to animals impacted DONATE NOW
- Charlotte Community Foundation: Funds will be used to provide financial assistance and resources to Charlotte County residents impacted by the hurricane. DONATE NOW
- Collier Community Foundation: All donations are distributed to area nonprofits serving victims and their families without administrative fees. DONATE NOW
- Community Foundation of Sarasota: Donations will go to the Suncoast Disaster Recovery Fund. DONATE NOW
- Community Foundation of Tampa Bay: Funds collected through this effort will be directed to address immediate needs through grants to select nonprofits. DONATE NOW
- Florida Disaster Fund: The State of Florida’s official private fund established to assist Florida’s communities as they respond and recover during times of emergency. All administrative and credit card fees have been waived for Hurricane Ian donations. DONATE NOW.
- Gulf Coast Community Foundation: These funds will be focused on health and human services needs in the areas south of Venice, and east to Arcadia. DONATE NOW
- Heart of Florida United Way Recovery Fund: Help residents in Orange, Seminole, and Osceola counties who need assistance recovering from the storm. DONATE NOW
- Manatee County Disaster Relief Fund: Help Manatee County residents. DONATE NOW

State and Federal Assistance Resources:

- Florida Short-Time Compensation for Employers Program: Provides temporary alternative work to assist employers in times of emergency. LEARN MORE
- IRS Excise Tax: The IRS will have certain tax penalties incurred as a result of disasters. LEARN MORE

Florida Disaster Resources:
- Florida Division of Emergency Management maintains updated statewide information on recovery information and resources. LEARN MORE
- Florida Disaster Biz is a partnership between the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) and the Florida Division of Emergency Management (DEM) which will host updates and offer recovery resources. LEARN MORE
- The National Entrepreneur Center is maintaining a list of local resources and information to help in the recovery efforts. LEARN MORE
- The Florida DEO maintains the Florida Small Business Emergency Bridge Loan Program offers loans of up to $50,000 in short-term working capital loans to “bridge the gap” between a disaster and when a business can secure longer-term recovery funding. LEARN MORE.
